Growing up in Colorado I was always very active; loving all things but not running. Running became an integral part of my life in 2013 after working at Running Wild, voted “Top 50 Specialty Running Store in the US” in Pensacola, FL.
Since then, running has served a multitude of “roles” all surrounding the word “connection”. It has connected me to my cherished relationships, to a safe space to grieve loss, to see the vastness of New York City cresting the Verrazano bridge, the infamous "Citgo Sign" of the Boston Marathon, the wildflowers in the backcountry of Banff National Park, and a disconnection from the world to quiet connection with the Lord. It has shown me my fears and self-limiting beliefs and also provided the space to develop strength and new found confidence.
In addition to developing, coaching and leading corporate group training programs at Running Wild and Fleet Feet-Monroe (5k to Marathon), I’ve had the privilege of coaching within a collegiate program and friends for over 10 years, coaching from "beginner to advanced" levels of athletes and a friend training to pass the fitness test to become an FBI agent.
My current pursuits are working to enrich the local running communities and partner with runners nationwide in the pursuit of THEIR personal goals.
